Abstract
This project was completed as part of a partnership between the City of Chaska and the University of Minnesota’s Resilient Communities Project (https://rcp.umn.edu/). The goal of this project was to develop local case studies to explore how other municipalities are deploying their Local Affordable Housing Aid funds to maximize outcomes for residents. City of Chaska project leads Elise Durban, Julie Grove, and Nate Kabat collaborated with a team of students in Dr. Ryan Allen’s course PA 5621: Housing Policy to explored various approaches and their effectiveness, as well as provide Chaska with evidence-based recommendations for leveraging this funding source. A final student report from the project is available.
