Abstract
Like all human beings, Jennifer Brady has been through hard stuff. When things get tough, she has learned to lean on people and experiences. Her friends, family, students, and teachers have shown her determination, curiosity, and gratitude. Her experiences in Spain have modeled how community-based routines, slow food and good company, physical movement, creative output, and a growth mindset improve resiliency. In this session, you'll hear more about the pieces of good living that Jennifer has picked up over the years (and how this is a continued practice of learning for her), you'll be guided in a brief mindful practice, and you will be offered the opportunity to reflect on - and practice - resiliency strategies.
