Abstract
Lavender Celebration is an annual event for our graduating queer & trans students & aspiring allies who wish to be honored for their academic & personal success in completing their degree at UMD. Students who participate in Lavender Celebration will be provided a lavender cord that can be worn with their graduation regalia and a special gift. This ceremony is confidential & names of graduates will not be publicized.
