Abstract
The Small Cycladic Islands Project (SCIP) is an archaeological survey of uninhabited islands in the Cycladic Archipelago, Greece. Since 2019, SCIP has systematically surveyed 87 islands, revealing their historical uses including early seafaring, trade, fortifications, agriculture, and pastoralism. These discoveries enrich our understanding of ancient Greek myths, piracy, land use, and territorial disputes, highlighting the significance of this scenic Mediterranean landscape.
