Abstract

In my wide-ranging and, at times, deeply personal 4,499-word review essay "Thomas J. Farrell's Eight Point Psychological Profile of Himself," I succinctly highlight Pete Walker's new 2024 book Holistically Treating Complex PTSD (An Azure Coyote Book). In addition, I draw on the Jungian psychotherapist and psychological theorist Robert Moore's theory of the eight archetypes of maturity in the human psyche, and their accompanying sixteen "shadow" forms, to profile myself in terms of eight "shadow" forms of the archetypes of maturity in my psyche.
