Abstract
This data set supports the manuscript "Differential Behavior of Mo, Cu, and Fe during Laboratory Synthesis of Hydrothermal Plume Particles" prepared by Guy Evans, working in the University of Minnesota Aqueous Geochemistry Lab, and co-authors. The data set includes chemical analyses of laboratory hydrothermal fluids and sequential digestions of synthesized particles produced at the University of Minnesota, Aqueous Geochemistry Lab. This data set also includes transition electron microscopy (Thermo Fisher Talos F200X) data from the University of Minnesota Characterization Facility and synchrotron-based Fe 1s XANES and micro X-ray fluorescence at the National Synchrotron Light Source II, Brookhaven National Laboratory. TEM analyses included scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy maps (EDS) and selected-area electron diffraction (SAED) techniques.
Description
Data tables containing compiled chemical analyses. Transition electron microscopy images. Fe 1s XANES spectra.
