Building Community Through Shared Writing Experiences

Abstract

This article describes the Creative Writing Circle, a subgroup of women who are members of the University of Minnesota Women’s Club. This writer’s group, open to those at all technical levels, provides support and feedback on members’ compositions, encouraging production of a wide variety of stories, memoirs, and other genres. The author has included the experiences of several members in the Creative Writing Circle.
