Abstract

This report describes a hydraulic model study of the intakes and related approach flow regions for the St. Cloud Hydroelectric Project. The study was conducted for Warzyn Engineering and the M. A. Mortenson Company. The hydroelectric facility will be composed of two 4-Mw pit turbine/generator units utilizing approximately 17 ft of head with a design flow of 3,250 cfs each.
