Abstract
UMD formed the Campus Climate Leadership Team (CCLT) in 2010. The CCLT is comprised of students, staff, faculty, and administrators, and the team is charged with providing leadership for creating a more inclusive campus climate. In 2011, the CCLT contracted with Rankin & Associates Consulting (R&A) to conduct a campus-wide study entitled, "University of Minnesota Duluth Assessment of Climate for Learning, Living, and Working." A Climate Study Working Group was formed to work with R&A on the project. Data was gathered through reviews of relevant UMD literature and a campus-wide survey focused on the experiences and perceptions of various constituent groups. Based on the findings of this study, community forums will develop and complete two to three specific action items by Fall 2017.
