Abstract
This bedrock geology database is a GeMS compliant database of five, 1:24,000 scale, quadrangles within Cook County, Minnesota. The quadrangles are the following: Crocodile Lake, Pine Lake West, Lima Mountain, Pine Mountain, and Northern Light Lake. The mapping was conducted in 2022 at a scale of 1:48,000. This database is supported by the U. S. Geological Survey, National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program, under assistance Award No. G22AC00370-00.
This is a GeMS compliant (level 3) database for the five quadrangles and is final. County level data, C-56, Part A, Geologic Atlas of Cook County final publication, is estimated to be posted and available for download in 2026. County level data may or may not be GeMS compliant (level 3).
