Abstract

Local anesthesia is commonly used for minor procedures involving the fingers and toes. Adding epinephrine to local anesthesia gives quicker anesthesia onset, fewer injections needed to reach anesthesia, better pain control, prolonged anesthesia duration and less bleeding.
