With support from the University of Minnesota Extension’s Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships (RSDP), we conducted a year-long planning process that involved surveying vendors and customers to better understand the perceived benefits of a permanent market space, preferences for its functionality and aesthetics, and the potential ripple effects and economic impacts such a space could have on the Mankato community. This was done through a series of customer and vendor surveys and vendor feedback. This is a summary of the findings.
