This data and slide deck are the result of an outreach and engagement strategy led by Mel Alvar of the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA) to inform the development of The Strengthening Voices Toolkit: A Comprehensive Guide for Mental Health Professionals and Youth-Serving Agencies in Minnesota to Enhance Inclusive Outreach and Engagement and Promote Resilience Against Online Abuse Among Transgender, Two-Spirit, and Gender Diverse (T2SGD) youth. Data were collected through surveys administered at three different pride events held in northern Minnesota in the summer of 2024. The current slides present summary level analysis of the collected data focusing on the topics of participant demographics, friend support, internet safety, and other information/skills. This data set demonstrates the resilience and strength of T2SGD youth and highlights areas where youth may need additional support.
