Abstract

Dr. Katy Hosbein is an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department at Middle Tennessee State University. Her ongoing research seeks to improve our understanding of how to support STEM students in developing as scientists throughout their academic careers. Her interest was sparked by her own experiences navigating science throughout her academic career having ADHD and anxiety. Dr. Hosbein has a Masters degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Portlant State University and completed two postdoctoral fellowships at East Carolina University and University of Michigan.
