Abstract

A recent manuscript examined the generation of low-mode near-inertial waves in the ocean using the a modified shallow water model. This submission includes the Matlab functions to configure, generate, and post-process the model output. Matlab scripts are also included that recreate the figures in the manuscript.

Description

There are two folders (compressed in .zip format). Each folder has an associated plain-text documentation file that includes detailed information about its contents. The folders are: (1) modeling scripts and (2) plotting_scripts. The first folder includes all Matlab scripts and functions necessary to reproduce the model results from scratch. The second folder contains Matlab scripts and functions to re-create the figures included in Stokes et al. (2025). All of the data needed for these scripts are included in the folder.
