Abstract

This project was completed as part of a partnership between the City of Shoreview and the University of Minnesota’s Resilient Communities Project (https://rcp.umn.edu/). The goal of this project was to investigate barriers to participation in civic activities for multifamily housing residents and conduct case studies of successful city engagement strategies. City of Shoreview project lead Renee Eisenbeisz collaborated with a team of students in Zakcq Lockrem's course PA 5145 to conduct a demographic, stakeholder, and media analysis; develop a public engagement plan; and create a "Share of Shoreview" game for City of Shoreview’s use in future engagement efforts. A final student report from the project is available.

Description
