Abstract
This report presents the methodology, findings and recommendations of a study of the types of potential effects of the Central Corridor Project on the Cedar-Riverside community. Specifically, the report identifies and compiles the types of potential effects of the Central Corridor Project and the planned West Bank LRT Station in a single document, integrates input on the Central Corridor Project from neighborhood businesses and organizations, and provides recommendations for future action for the Cedar-Riverside Neighborhood Revitalization Program (CRNRP) and other neighborhood organizations.
The study is the product of a collaborative effort between Humphrey Institute graduate students and the CRNRP. It is meant to supplement the work already in progress by neighborhood and governmental organizations on the Central Corridor Project, and provide CRNRP with specific recommendations on how to make the project a success for the neighborhood. CRNRP’s objectives include building neighborhood leadership capacity, increasing community involvement, and creating effective partnerships for neighborhood planning and community development initiatives within the Cedar-Riverside area.
