The Minneapolis American Indian Center (MAIC), University of Minnesota’s Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA), Center for Sustainable Building Research (CSBR) at the College of Design, and the Native American Community Development Institute (NACDI)) worked with community members, MAIC staff and Board to develop a vision for social, cultural, arts and economic revitalization of the Center. This work builds on the work that is already underway in the American Indian Cultural Corridor and outlined in the American Indian Blueprint led by NACDI.
Conducted on behalf of the Design for Community Resilience program. Supported by the Kris Nelson Community-Based Research Program, a program of the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA) at the University of Minnesota and Nexus Community Partners
