This collection contains issues of miscellaneous newsletters and student publications from the University of Minnesota Duluth and its predecessors. These include:

• Brown Paper Rapper - A 1974 Welcome Week publication.
• Dulutheran - A student publication from the Duluth State Teachers College. This issue is dated December 1945 (volume 1, number 4). If other issues exist, they have not been located and digitized.
• Energy Bulletin - One issue from February 12, 1980. This may have been produced by the Energy Conservation Advisory Committee, which was active in the late 1970s into the late 1980s and was chaired for a few years by Robert Bridges, who is listed on this Bulletin as the Energy Coordinator. Other issues may have been produced but have not been located.
• The Northern Star - The fall 1996 issue of the UMD Parents' Association's newsletter. UMD began creating a parents' association in late 1994. It's unclear how long it lasted but likely not long.
