Academic Professionals & Administrators (P&A) Senate and Consultative Committee:

On July 1, 2011, the P&A Senate became the official University governance body for academic professionals and administrative (P&A) employees at the University of Minnesota. Representatives and alternates are elected to their positions by the unit in which they work. The P&A Senate works primarily in four areas: benefits and compensation, communications, outreach, and professional development and recognition.

The P&A Consultative Committee serves as the consulting body to the president and as executive committee of the P&A Senate. It represents the P&A at large and not the individual campuses, institutes, colleges, schools, or departments of the University.

For current Senate and Consultative Committee business and meeting information as well as a history of P&A governance, please visit the P&A Senate and P&A Consultative Committee websites.

Minutes from the previous Council of Academic Professionals and Administrators (CAPA), covering December 2005 to March 2011, are available in this collection.
