Minnesota Geological Survey

The images in this folder are scans of:

 MGS M-2: Gabbro Lake Quadrangle, Lake County, Minnesota
  by J.C.Green, W.C.Phinney, and P.W.Weiblen, 1966.


 The orginal scans were made by the Digital Services group at
 the Elmer Amderson Library at the University of Minnesota.
 Original images were taken at 300dpi.

 Registration was done using ArcMap9.2 at the Minnesota Geological
 Survey.  The coordinate system is UTM zone 15 and the datum is 
 NAD83.

 Gabbro Lake Quadrangle
  m2r.tif: geotiff image of map area only with reduced color
           palette and resolution (150dpi) (about 18mb)
  m2r.tfw: esri world file for registering image for systems
           not supporting geotiff

  mgs_m2_mr.tif: full color, 300dpi geotiff image of entire plate
                 (about 350mb)
  mgs_m2_mr.tfw: esri world file for registering image for systems
                 not supporting geotiff

  mgs_m2_m.pdf : full color, 300dpi pdf of entire plate (6.3mb)
  mgs_m2_m150.pdf: full color, 150dpi pdf of plate (2.2mb)
