Miscellaneous Map Series Map M-105

   Bedrock Geologic Map of the Island View Quadrangle, Koochiching

The following covers and files were created with funding from the U. S. 
Geological Survey under the EDMAP program of the National Geologic 
Mapping program for the Island View 7.5 minute quadrangle, 2000.

Digital products
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The export (.e00) files for the Arc/Info coverages created for this
project are all contained in the .zip format file "m105.zip". 
Included in the .zip archive is a textfile "index.txt" that lists and 
describes the coverages included.

Freeware versions of software to extract the zipped files are readily 
available for almost any platform (pc, Unix, Mac,..) for download via 
the web.

Metadata for the GIS products is included in this directory as
"m105meta.pdf".

A pdf version of the each plate is included in this directory as
"m105plt1.pdf" and "m105plt2.pdf".  These pdf files should be viewed with 
Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher.

All covers are registered in UTM coordinates, zone 15, NAD83 projection.
