** June 2003 update ** Most of the primary coverages have been reprojected to UTM zone 15, unshifted, NAD83. These are provided in zipfile "filln83.zip". The original set of files generated for the atlas are still available in the zipfile "fillmore.zip". Pdfs of scanned images of the printed atlas plates are located in the "c8_pdfs" directory. * Oct. 2001 update note * The following covers were created in 1995. They do not have all the current attributes contained in recent MGS digital products. Go to the documents folder on the MGS ftp site and there is a master "look up table" that will give character descriptions of the MGSCODE attribute given in these covers. 3 of the most commonly used covers; bgpg, sgpg, and btpg have been updated and contain an expanded attribute table in the .pat. No metadata is currently available for this data. The projection for the covers is: UTM NAD27 with a y-shift of -4700000 This projection was commonly used by other agencies such as LMIC at the time of creation.
