Legge et al. -- Data Documentation for Journal Submission 9/15/15

In the accompanying csv file:

Column A: Subjects
	S01-S32: Walking Subjects (Experiment 1)
	W01-W16: Wheelchair Subjects (Experiment 2)

Column B: Room/Path #
Column B lists the seven test spaces (A-G). X refers to an eighth room where subjects were given practice trials and where five paths, numbered 1-5, were used for control trials for spatial updating (columns H-O). Data for the control trials are listed in the csv file. The dimensions of the rooms are listed in a table below.

Column C: Visual Conditions
Control: Normal vision, no restriction (able to look back at entrance and/or target bean bag).
Wide Field: Normal vision, no goggles, no headphones, face forward (not able to look back at entrance and target bean bag)
Narrow Field: Field Restriction, subject wears goggles restricting field of view to 8 degrees and headphones
Mild Blur: 1 layer of blur foil (Snellen equivalent 20/135), headphones also worn
Severe Blur: 2 layers of blur foil (Snellen equivalent 20/900), headphones also worn
Preview: Subject given 10 seconds to look in the space from the door before putting on blindfold and headphones

Column D: Door Side Length (ft)
Measurement of the physical door side length of the room

Column E: Door Side Subject Response (ft)
Subject's Response for the door side value

Column F: Non-Door Side Length (ft)
Measurement of the physical non-door side length of the room

Column G: Non-Door Side Subject Response (ft)
Subject's response for the non-door side value

Column H: Starting Distance (ft)
Measurement of the physical distance from subject at the end of the path to the starting point

Column I: Starting Distance Subject Response (ft)
Subject's response for distance from their location at the end of the path to the starting point

Column J: Starting Direction (deg)
Measurement of the angle in degrees from the subject's facing direction at the end of the path to the starting point

Column K: Starting Direction Subject Response (deg)
Subject's response for angle from their facing direction at the end of the path to the starting point

Column L: Target Distance (ft)
Actual distance (true value) from the subject at pt 3 to the target bean bag dropped at first segment of the path)

Column M: Target Distance Subject Response (ft)
Subject's response for the distance from their location at the end of the path to the target (bean bag dropped at first segment of the path)

Column N: Target Direction (deg)
Measurement of the angle in degrees from the subject's facing direction at the end of the path to the target (bean bag dropped at first segment of the path)

Column O: Target Direction Subject Response (deg)
Subject's response for angle from their facing direction at the end of the path to the target (bean bag dropped at first segment of the path)

Column P: Comments
	Outliers are marked
