Geographic location of data collection (where was data collected?): online 6. Information about funding sources that supported the collection of the data: Funded by the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission for Minnesota Resources and the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center. 7. Overview of the data (abstract): The release of live baitfish by recreational anglers has been identified as a particularly high-risk pathway for the spread of fish disease and invasive species. We elicited opinions from 25 stakeholder experts to create distributions of weights for each criteria, incorporating subjective values-based information with the empirical framework. We created a screening protocol and semi-quantitative framework for identifying and ranking pathogens most likely to cause harm to important fishes in Minnesota based on 7 criteria. We applied the framework and identified the top three most hazardous pathogens: Asian fish tapeworm, viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus, and Ovipleistophora ovariae. -------------------------- SHARING/ACCESS INFORMATION -------------------------- 1.
