Filename type: asym_alpha_ Short description: Data from numerical SCFT calculation from the C++ package 'pscfpp' for the excess grand canonical free energy per unit area as a function of the curvature for different values of conformational aymmetry and alpha for the cylindrical and spherical geometries. For example, 'asym1_0_alpha20_cyl' corresponds to data for excess grand canonical free energy per unit area as a function of curvature for conformational asymmetry of b_B/b_A = 1.0 and alpha = 0.20 for the cylindrical geometry. B. Filename type: asym_.mat Short description: MATLAB data container for results for the asymmetry parameter, bending and Gaussian rigidities as a function of alpha for different values of conformational asymmetry in the cylindrical and spherical geometry. For example, 'asym2_0_sph.mat' corresponds to results for conformational asymmetry of b_B/b_A = 2.0 in spherical geometry. C. Filename: gen_Fig
.m Short description: MATLAB script to generate Figure
using MATLAB. This script was written in MATLAB R2018a. 2. Relationship between files: Data files of the type asym_alpha_ are needed for gen_Fig3.m and gen_Fig4.m to generate Figures 3 and 4 in the paper. Data files of the type asym_.mat are needed for gen_Fig5.m and gen_Fig6.m to generate Figures 5 and 6 in the paper. -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- 1. Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: Data for this set were generated using the C++ package for numerical SCFT called 'pscfpp'. The package and the associated documentation to download, install and use the package is available at : https://pscf-home.cems.umn.edu The figures were generated using the scripts provided using MATLAB R2018a. ----------------------------------------- DATA-SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR: ASYM_ALPHA_ ----------------------------------------- 1.
