Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: A record was produced for each selection in the apple breeding program that included morphological descriptions of the tree and fruit as well as annual descriptions of its performance. Numbering of selections in the program was sequential starting with MN 1. Evaluation of the selection would continue for several years until it was either introduced as a named cultivar or discarded from further consideration. The records in this collection are mainly for selections that were discarded from 1975 through 2015. 2. People involved with data collection: As stated above, since the data was collected over large periods of time, it is unclear who authored each page/dataset.
