| Abstract: | This simplified geologic map shows the general distribution of surficial sediments in Minnesota. During the Pleistocene Epoch (2 million- 10.000 years ago J. glaciers advanced into Minnesota several times from different directions-the Superior lobe from the northeast; the Rainy lobe from the north-northeast; the Wadena lobe from the north; and the Des Moines lobe from the northwest. |
