| Description: | Renewal of the Life Science Building is the second phase of improvements to basic science facilities at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. The first phase, construction of the Swenson Laboratory Sciences Building currently under construction, will provide contemporary laboratory facilities needed to support the rapidly growing teaching and research programs for both chemistry and biology. Renewal of the Life Science Building, which will be partially vacated when the new building is occupied, will make it functional and safe, and will provide space for: Instructional labs, research labs, laboratory support facilities, and faculty and staff offices for portions of the Biology Department that will not be accommodated in the Swenson Building; and classrooms, instructional labs, research labs, faculty and staff offices for the recently initiated
Pharmacy Program in Duluth. |
