Abstract: Royal Environmental Systems, Inc. requested a series of tests to be conducted on their Model 3 ecoStorm hydrodynamic separator to determine its efficiency in removing suspended solids as well as its scouring potential under high flow conditions. A Model 3 ecoStorm was brought into St. Anthony Falls Laboratory (SAFL) and set up for testing. After conducting a series of tests, Royal Environmental Systems, Inc. modified the Model 3 ecoStorm. The report herein is a summary of the tests conducted at SAFL to determine the removal efficiency and the scouring potential of the Modified Model 3 ecoStorm
