Students are provided with buildings on campus that have set programs, as prescribed by administration and what they feel is best. Through this research topic, I have found that the original intentions for a space are not necessarily realized or maintained due to student initiative in adopting or adapting spaces. Students will create their own experience of campus–regardless of how spaces were formally planned.
