THE LAST 40 years have brought more numerous and more
striking changes in farm techniques than any similar period in
recorded history. This period has also been characterized by a
wide range in the price of farm products. This bulletin covers a
complete cycle- from 1919, when farm prices reached their highest
level up to that time, through the lowest point in the present
century in the early thirties, to an all-time high in 1948.
