As a condition of the Procurement Agreement pertaining to the supply
of turbine/generating equipment for its new hydroelectric facility, the City of
St. Cloud required that the equipment meet certain performance guarantees.
The plant, located on the Mississippi River, houses two 3540 mm Voith
Kaplan pit units, each rated at 4400 kW. This report describes the conduct
and results of the Acceptance Tests wherein the guarantees associated with
those units may be verified.
